Registration with the CNIL

In accordance with Articles 22, 23 and 24 of Law 78-17 of 6 January 1978, amended by Law 2009-526 of 19 May 2009, relating to information technology, files and freedoms, automated or non-automated processing of personal data that is contained or likely to be contained in files used within the framework of the Website has been declared to the French Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL) under number 1427297.

Processing of personal data

Under this law, the Seller informs you that you have a right to access and correct the data concerning you and that you can exercise this right at any time via a written request by email to the Seller. The personal data you provide to the Seller and/or its partners is kept confidential. It may only be transferred to third parties with your express permission or if disclosure is necessary for the identification, apprehension or prosecution of any person infringing the rights of the Seller or others. You remain in control of your personal information and can remove it from your profile at any time by logging into your customer account. Note that a profile cannot be deleted, only emptied of the information it contains.

The information you are asked to provide is exclusively for the use of the Seller and/or its commercial partners and will be used to enable you to activate your account and for statistical purposes. This information may, with your consent, be used to send the Website’s newsletter or, more generally, for commercial prospecting purposes by the Seller and/or its commercial partners. For business partners located in countries that do not have an adequate level of protection of personal data, these partners are contractually bound to respect the European regulations on personal data protection. Please note that voluntary registration on our Website constitutes consent to receiving newsletters.

Furthermore, the Seller informs you that it may use cookies (this term designating a code that an HTTP or HTTPS server records, often temporarily, on the hard disk of the Internet user to identify them on its service) in order to recognise you more quickly when you connect to the Website and display your preferences. The Seller informs you that you may refuse this type of exchange by changing the settings of your Internet browser. The Help section in the toolbar of most browsers tells you how to refuse cookies, receive a notification when a cookie is installed, or disable all cookies. You may also choose to disable or delete similar data used by software connected to your browser, such as Flash cookies, by modifying the software settings or following the disabling procedures available on the software publisher’s website. However, because cookies give you access to some of the Website’s essential functions, we recommend that you leave them active, otherwise you may encounter problems when browsing our website.

Cookies

Cookies are small files that are stored on the Buyer‘s hard drive when they connect to a website. They record specific settings and data exchange with the Seller’s system via the Buyer’s browser. This storage allows the Seller‘s website to be made more user-friendly and meet the needs of the Buyer. For example, the Buyer’s connection settings are recorded to avoid constantly disconnecting them when visiting their Customer account. When the Buyer closes the browser session (“end of session”), certain cookies are automatically deleted from the Buyer’s hard disk (these are “session cookies”). Some cookies (“long-lasting cookies”) may be stored for a long period of time (several months to several years) so that they can be activated each time the Buyer visits the Seller‘s site. Thus, as soon as the Buyer reconnects, they are automatically recognised and their usual settings are activated accordingly.

The Buyer may delete cookies from their browser manually at any time. Most browsers accept cookies by default. The Buyer can go to the security settings of their browser and allow or disable cookies for all or some of the websites they visit. Accepting cookies is not a requirement for visiting the Seller’s online shop. If the Buyer does not allow cookies, or if they disable them, there may be cases where the Seller’s website is not available, and some web pages may not be displayed correctly.
